Over the last few years Lisa has battled her own health care, including Lyme disease. Now she is able to drawn from all the information and knowledge that she gathered in her own journey to assist her in better caring for her clients.
Lisa has been a (RNCP) Registered Nutritional
Consulting Practitioner since 1997. As well, she is an accredited ROHP
Registered Orthomolecular Practitioner. The title of Orthomolecular
Practitioner is a title awarded to those with advanced and in-depth
nutritional training. In addition, Lisa is a member in good standing
with the CSOM. CSOM (Canadian Society of Orthomolecular Practitioners)
is a non profit group dedicated to advancing the field of Orthomolecular
medicine. The group includes physicians, Naturopaths, Pharmacists and a
select few nutritionists.
A key aspect of Lisa's personality is her never ending drive for knowledge. Thus over the span of her academic career Lisa has taken numerous courses in health and nutrition. These include a B.A. in Physical Anthropology, a M.A.Sc. in nutrition, diplomas in Advanced and Applied Nutrition, Certificates in Human Health and Sexuality, Cravings and Addictions, Sport's Nutrition, Introduction to Pharmacy, Essential Fatty Acid Utilization, Microbiome, Acute and Chronic Rhinosinusitis, and Pro biotic/Antibiotic Usage. Ongoing course upgrades will continue to be a part of Lisa's drive for knowledge!

In the community Lisa is/has been actively involved in several environmental and social projects. Her vision of personal wellness, and community wellness, encapsulates the environment around us. She is one of the key founders of the group Sarnia Environmental Alliance (SEA). Although this group no longer meets their accomplishments include receiving the Mayor's Honour Roll, petitioning for a pesticide free community and having a key voice in many key environmental initiatives within the community.
